"This review really isn't of this particular office, but I am so disappointed in this insurance company, I have to post a review of my situation.

My family has had state farm for over 50 years. I myself have had state farm for over 20 years. Someone rear-ended me while I was at a stop light in November 2025 just before Thanksgiving. I called the cops. A report was written, but it seems like he didn't cite her. Thanks, Cary PD.

The law is clear in NC. She's completely at fault. Yet, it's been nearly 8 months now, and I have not been reimbursed for my deductible. When I called the claims agent, they never called back. The office (Terri LaRocca's office) was kind enough to check on it for me, and they relayed that the claims dept is still negotiating. Negotiating about what? They shouldn't be negotiating anything. This isn't some complex, expensive accident that requires a year of back and forth and lawyers. It's quite simple. The other party is 100% at fault. If State Farm can't handle a simple accident like this, I'm not sure I trust them to handle a major accident or any major claim. $1500 car repair. $500 rental car. 8+ months of negotiation? I'll be shopping around for different insurance.

This honestly has nothing to do with this office as they have always been extremely kind and helpful. I hate to even post this review here, but I am genuinely deeply disappointed in State Farm."
